En été, j’aime lire des livres divertissants. Ils peuvent être très différents, mais ils ont tous en commun de raconter une bonne histoire. J’essais de trouver des livres inspirants, bien construits, bien écrits, qui m’apprennent des choses et me laissent dans un état d’esprit positif. Un livre peut vous hanter longtemps et si je dois être hantée, je préfère l’être par des livres – ou d’autres choses – qui me portent vers le haut, et me font passer un bon moment. Rien n’est plus agréable que de refermer un livre en vous sentant plus intelligente, plus heureuse et en ayant la sensation d’avoir découvert un auteur que vous aurez plaisir à retrouver, comme un ami. Voici donc ma petite selection :
During the summer l enjoy reading entertaining books. They may be very different but have one thing in common, they all tell a good story. I try to find books that are uplifting, well constructed, well written, that teach me something and leave me in a positive mood. A book can haunt you for a long time and if l must be haunted, l prefer it to be by books – or other things – that lift my spirits and provide a pleasant moment. Nothing is more agreable than to close a book feeling more knowledgeable, more contented, and with the feeling that you have discovered an author you will be happy to meet again, like a friend. Here then is my selection:
